At the holidays for the last five years, Carole Van Den Hazenkamp has made donations to charities to help others.
This year, her generosity brought special joy to Caitlin’s Smiles during the festivities at the first session of our Holiday Open House.
Carole dropped by to surprise Cheryl with a check for $1,000. The Harrisburg resident’s donation not only honored our cause of helping ill children, but especially honored her dear friend Elsie Stroup.
Elsie has been volunteering with Caitlin’s Smiles since our beginnings, giving tirelessly to our kids for 17 1/2 years. And when she’s not working on our behalf, she has been donating her time and renowned cooking talents to countless other charitable causes.
“Elsie is always doing something to help somebody,” Carole said in her presentation.
