It was a winning drive by the Central Dauphin High School boys’ soccer team with an assist from Hershey High’s players and fans.
CD Rams players Carter, Ethan and Max and coach Neil Cooper surprised us with a recent visit and 402 coloring books.
Coach Cooper said a group of players had made craft kits at Smiles Central last spring and the team wanted to do more to help.
So the Rams planned the coloring book drive for a recent game against Hershey. They said they put out the call on social media and in fliers. Then they invited the Hershey team and fans to join in, and the Trojans’ faithful responded.
