Jeweler Creates Necklace Dedicated to Caitlin

December 6, 2011

Jeweler and metal artist, Nancy Nelson, has created a truly unique necklace, dedicated to our Caitlin. “Feathers of an Angel” features a wing of copper, with a knotted feathered stitch, layered with small rutilated quartz beads threaded through the metal. A small copper tag with the word Smile hangs close to your heart. The necklace chain of oxidized sterling silver hangs 28″ long; the wing is 2.5″ long, with the 1″ wide tag.

“The Feathers of an Angel Necklace is dedicated to a brave little girl named Caitlin, who left this world too soon but touched the lives of many. My wish for this necklace is that it weaves the message of remembrance, compassion, love, strength and peace to the wearer. “ – Nancy Nelson

“Feathers of an Angel” sells for $72 and is made to order. A portion of all sales of this necklace will go to Caitlin’s Smiles, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing smiles and laughter with children facing chronic or life-threatening illnesses.
