Janet Krall met Caitlin while she was Cheryl’s retirement counselor with the state. A few years later, it was pure coincidence that Janet became a volunteer with Caitlin’s Smiles.

"It's a great place to volunteer," she says. "It helps the kids. I can see from their thank-you notes, (the pictures with) the smiles on their faces with the Bags of Smiles. ... It's just a good feeling when you get a box of stuff done and bring it back in here. It's as much for my well-being as for the kids' well-being." 

Carrie came to Caitlin's Smiles in 2016 to join her daughter, longtime volunteer Cindy Drawbaugh. Carrie says there is "so much" that draws her here.

For two hours on those mornings, our Red Room comes alive with chatter and laughter as the quartet assembles craft kits and Coping Kits, checks others' kits for quality, and performs any other task that is asked of them.
